Lonnie Painter

Start Here

If you're new to medical cannabis, this is where you start.

What it can help with

Chronic pain

Joint pain, nerve pain, arthritis, and ongoing pain that limits daily life.

Insomnia

Trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling rested.

Nausea

From medications, treatments, or chronic conditions.

Muscle cramps

Spasms, tightness, and discomfort that affect mobility.

How to get started

  1. Reach out. Call, text, or email to set up a consultation. You don't need to know anything about cannabis beforehand.
  2. We talk through your situation. I'll ask about your symptoms, what you've tried, and what your doctor has said. This is how I figure out what will actually work.
  3. You get a starting plan. A specific product, a specific dose, and clear instructions on when and how to use it.
  4. You try it and we adjust. Most people need at least one adjustment. That's normal. I follow up to make sure it's working.

What to have ready

Before your first consultation, it helps to know:

  • What symptoms you want help with (pain, sleep, nausea, etc.)
  • What medications you currently take
  • Whether you've tried cannabis before, and what happened

If you don't have all of this, that's fine. We'll work through it together.

What to expect

  • Consultations are one-on-one with Lonnie, not a group class or a sales pitch.
  • You'll leave with a clear recommendation, not a menu of options to sort through yourself.
  • Follow-up is included. If something isn't working, we change it.

Common Questions

Do I need a medical cannabis card?

California allows adults 21+ to purchase cannabis without a medical card. A medical card can offer some benefits (lower taxes, higher purchase limits), but it's not required to work with Lonnie.

Will this interact with my medications?

Cannabis can interact with certain medications, especially blood thinners and some sedatives. Lonnie will ask about your current medications and can help you identify potential concerns. He's not a doctor, and you should always keep your physician informed.

What if I've never used cannabis before?

That's common. Most of Lonnie's clients started with no experience. You'll begin with a low dose of a specific product, with clear instructions. No guessing involved.

Will I get "high"?

Not necessarily. Many products used for pain and sleep have little or no psychoactive effect, especially at the doses typically recommended. Lonnie will explain exactly what to expect before you try anything.

Are consultations free?

Consultations are free. Lonnie offers guidance because he believes seniors deserve clear information. Follow-up is included, so you're not starting over each time you have a question.

What if it doesn't work?

It's common to need adjustments. If the first product or dose isn't right, Lonnie will work with you to change it. The goal is to find something that actually helps, not to sell you something and move on.
